Dr. David Heskiaoff, MD

He missed diagnosed me & I was in so much pain

My surgery was supposed to be done arthroscopic, leaving three tiny incisions. Instead Heskiaoff opened my shoulder completely (6 inch scar) and did God knows what to my shoulder. When it was time to remove my bandages, 2 WEEKS later, the surgery sight was infected. Sutures were removed. I had to go back in a few weeks later because there were still sutures in me that he forgot about, and did not believe me when I told him they were still there. He proceeded to grab a pair of pliers, pull on the suture as hard as he can to no avail because it was still attached to something! He then cut the suture. To cut this short, the surgery failed, he just gave me a shot of cortisone and said "Good luck". It has been 2 years of horrid pain.

Spoken from his own mouth, when I repeatedly tried to get information out of him regarding options available to treat my pain. He refused to answer my questions, instead, telling me that (the pain) "is the way it's going to be" regarding an injury. I'm quite young, and it was shocking to hear a physician refuse to even discuss alternative treatments. Not just what he said, but his behavior was always off- never facing me as the patient, always orienting himself toward his chart, never making eye contact, leaving the room without stating whether the visit is over, etc. The last visit ended with him forcefully stating "Don't come back, I can't do anything for you. Find another doctor" in an excessively loud volume. If you want to try him out, go for it. But please, trust your instincts.

Doctor Heskiaoff was performed minor knee surgery on my friend. The surgery has left him in excruciating pain and he is now nearly bedridden.Many people we have interviewed have had nothing but negative things to say about this man and how very unprofessional he is.

I love Dr. Heskiaoff and his staff. They took care of both my carpal tunnel surgeries. He truly cares about his patients. His nurse, Monica is just about the sweetest thing on earth. I would never go anywhere else. I highly recommend Dr. Heskiaoff.

I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Heskiaoff or his staff. They are wonderful. They spend time with you, follow up after surgery with you and genuinely care. I wish all doctors worked this way and instilled this patient care in their office staff. I love these people.

Contrary to the other posts, Dr. Heskiaoff is a great orthopedist. He did my knee replacement months ago and I am feeling great. I am pain free and living my life as I should.

Avoid this doctor!!

On the two occasions that I saw him, I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Heskiaoff. In both instances, the course of action and treatments he recommended helped me heal without the need for aggressive surgery - as opposed to the opinion of another doctor who had recommended surgery.

After being forced to see this doctor because of workman's comp and getting a horrible injection that a "real" doctor told me could have done major damage due to his inexperience as to the anatomy of the knee, I have to tell others DO NOT let this man touch you. GET A SECOND OPINION. At least my experience was just a bad injection, thiink of the damage this man could have done with a scalpel. His peers all agree he is just waiting to retire. He does not keep up on today's medical technology.
