Dr. David H. Hoch, MD

My husband had a rapid heart rate and we were fortunate to have Dr. Hoch quickly see him. He was able to schedule an ABLATION in a two week time frame. The surgery was successful! The St. Francis staff was also so kind and helpful, We are so very grateful to Dr. Hoch's ability to assess and fix the problem. Dr. Hoch was able to explain everything he did to restore the heart to its normal rhythm. He is truly a gifted, amazing and friendly doctor!

Dr Hoch did my ablation earlier this year. I am still experiencing symptoms months after my procedure and went for another follow up visit. I told him I was having symptoms - that’s as far as I got before he told me to track it on a device that I bought per his recommendation but haven’t had any luck with it. He told me “I don’t have time for this” and walked out - he was in the room for LESS than 3 minutes. He didn’t even give me a chance to explain what symptoms I’ve been having. And then my heart rate hit 186 before I got to the checkout desk - when the very nice lady asked if she should get the doctor I let her know that he “didn’t have time for this” and I would not be scheduling a follow up with him. He’s Absolutely terrible!! I would NOT recommend seeing him if you have an actual issue that you would like to DISCUSS with your doctor.

During my first visit with dr. Hoch he identified my problem and scheduled me for ablation surgery. My prior cardiologist thought I drank too much coffee. Dr. Hoch is very professional in his approach and gave me a feeling of confidence in what he wanted to do. Its 4 months after the procedure and all is good. I am very happy I chose dr. Hoch and would recommend him to my best friend.

Dr. Hoch is a very skilled doctor. I came in with a fib was told I need an ablation. Two months later had ablation and was completely cured and that was a year ago! I would highly recommend him and I am so grateful that I feel great now!

Great doctor. My mother had a arteriel filibration recorder and she had a lot of pain during the procedure. She had a local anesthetic and felt a lot of pain. I think she could have been made more comfortable.

I have been a patient of Dr Hoch since 2018. The first time I met him I explained what was happening to me; I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter. I will never forget that first office visit ever. Dr Hoch held my hand and told me he would take good care of me. He provided me comfort that I will never forget as my anxiety level was at an all time high. My heart and brain felt so out of sync. Within days thankfully Dr Hoch did a cardiac ablation for which I will forever be grateful to him. Total success- I got my life back! Dr Hoch is a wonderfully kind and importantly an EXPERIENCED electrophysiologist whom I highly recommend.

Dr Hoch diagnosed my condition, potentially life-threatening, and offered to perform an ablation; he informed me that the success rate was over 95% and likelihood of recurrence without treatment 100%. I had the procedure performed the next morning and have not had any issues in 5 years! I look forward to seeing him for an annual visit and I perceive him as the smartest doctor that I know . . . . and I am a physician.

I had a procedure done in 2020 by Dr.Hoch The treatment I received was excellent . Dr. Hoch and his staff made me feel confident and at ease . Anytime I had to leave a message for the Dr, he called me back within one hour . I was very satisfied with his service ,and can highly recommend Dr Hoch . Thanks to him I feel great.

Since 2006, I have been under the wonderful care of Dr. Hoch, who is affiliated with St. Francis Hospital. I had required a triple by-pass, and soon later had to have a pacemaker as well. I am now 77 yrs. old, and feel grateful for the last 15 yrs. I have been gifted with.
