Dr. David Alan Hollis, MD

I’m sorry I wasted my time and money on this guy. He’s rude, and only his opinion means anything. Horrible people and listening skills You can give his staff all of your medicines and allergies, and the reason you are there, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference when he steps into the room. Your previous medical history, trashed. Your former Doctors’ opinions, unconcerned. It’s as if what your previous Doctors have told you, advised you or how they treated your diseases, does not mean anything. is quick to dismiss anything you have to say. If you question anything, he will put you in your place. Who’s the doctor? You might go to pick up a prescription and it’s not what you thought you had talked about, too bad! Take it or find another doctor. His staff is just as bad, or he has trained them that he is always right and the neither the patient and nor staff get to question the great OZ. A doctor who doesn’t listen and who is dismissive of your medical history or your other… doctors’ treatments and test, MRIs, and medical opinions, is not a Doctor at all. I did take his advice on one thing, I have found another doctor.

I feel very safe using the Killen Clinic for all my health needs. Doctor Hollis and his staff know what they are doing.

Dr. Hollis has been my doctor for almost 20 years. I truly believe he is knowledgeable and I believe I would be taken care of if in a life threatening situation. However, on a day-to-day basis he doesn't seem to listen well. He has strong opinions and doesn't really care about yours. He is rude and I have experienced him talking down to me but it didn't last long. I snapped right back at him. Since then it has been better and I sincerely believe he realizes he lacks empathy and compassion. I have considered a few times changing doctors but from my research I am not sure I can improve. Yes, maybe I can find a doctor with a better bedside manner and maybe one that shows a little more empathy but what I really prefer is someone that knows what they are doing and I believe I have that covered with Dr. Hollis.

Dr. Hollister has taken care of me and my husband for about 25 years. He has saw me near death and was always there, when I was in ICC he made sure to talk to my family. I have chronic pain and he has always tried to help me keep it at a liveable level. When the need has come up he always sends us where he thinks we can be best helped. He spends as much time as we need with us and follows up always. We couldn't ask for anyone to take better care of us and he is always accurate with his diagnosis. His staff is courteous and friendly and gets us in as soon as possible when we call. We are thankful to have such a wonderful Dr.

I was looking for a new doctor. I am very pleased with my first visit. I feel that Dr. Hollis will try to help me and not ignore my pain.

Dr Hollis has never fails to give correct diagnosis and always follows up.

Dr. Hollis has been taking care of my family for over 20 years. He has recognized several medical problems and recommended professional care in different situations. He has always been correct on his diagnosis and able to get us well again.

The issue I came in for was completely ignored and I was talked down too. I was perscribed something I was allerrgic to, and once I reminded of this I was sent home as sick as when I came. Also, billing is very odd. You ar not billed a flat fee, but rather, as it was examined to me, how much time you spend with him. Which for me, in the further, will me none. I am definitely going to continue looking for a different GP. Nobody deserves to be spoken down to..I also hold a PhD, I am not an idiot and that's how I was treated. He just didn't allow me to speak about what was going on; it was as though he made up his mind immediately what was wrong and there would be no more discussion. Frankly, I would like my money back as I basically sat there, got lectured about a chronic condition I had, and was sent home in pain and vomiting. You will either love him or hate him. I hope I never have to see that know it all face around town ever.
