Dr. David Brannon Holt, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Holt's many years ago. Had to move from VA, but when I returned, found he was still in practice and called to make an appointment. He is the BEST M.D. that I have seen in Va. Beach, including some specialists. He listens, and actually "hears" what you are saying and responds in a way that is understandable to his patients; explains things in easy enough fashion for all to comprehend. So glad I was able to see him again, now that I am a "senior citizen".

Dr Holt listened to me carefully and was very concerned about my treatment. Spent plenty of time with me and was very helpful.

As a registered nurse, I find Dr Holt to be one of the best physicians I have ever seen. I am very picky about my primary care provider and find that Dr Holt listens well to patient complaints, and acts accordingly. My first encounter with him was as a patient advocate for someone else. He treated the lady with dignity and answered all of her questions, going above and beyond what most general practitioners do for their patients. I left the family practice group I was in and started seeing Dr Holt about 9 months ago. When I told him my arthritis was getting worse, he suggested allergy testing and found I was allergic to 4 foods that I ate on a regular basis. Once I stopped eating those foods, my pain subsided quite a bit. I highly recommend him, especially if you are juggling a bunch of specialists and need one doctor to coordinate your care.

Dr. Holt is the best doctor that i have ever seen. He always takes his time with me and listens to what i say. He has a great bedside manner and I have never had a problem getting in to see him right away. I am on disability and have several serious health issues and he stays on top of them all . He knows what he is doing and follows up with me on a monthly basis and more if needed. I highly recommend him .

Dr Holt has been my doctor for over 15 years. There is no other doctor I would rather see. He got me through some very tough times and dealt with numerous health issues with me. He is the most compassionate doctor that I have ever dealt with. There were times when we had no insurance and he went out of his way to work with us, always charging us way under actual cost. When seeing an earlier review stating he was money hungry and uncaring, that tells me that patient didn't get wanted out of him (probably narcotics). There is no one I rather have care for my family.

Insincere and money hungry. Puts money first ahead of patient suffering.

I have been a patient of David Holt for about five years and have been so pleased with him. He diagnoses correctly and genuinely listens to you. He will make time for you and has a good sense of humor. Not many doctors are as warm and caring as this man. Would highly recommend him.
