Dr. David Olof Holtz, MD

I cannot write about his professional services because I had not been able to see him, his office keeps re-scheduling my first appointment without any consideration for my time and medical needs. As a cancer survivor patient, I must avoid stress, this inconsiderate treatment is certainly not helping my cause. My advice to any new patient is to move on to the next medical office; there are other private practices offering excellent customer service/ medical support in the area. Avoid this whole practice at all costs.

I found Dr Holiz to be extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He put me at ease immediately; explained the procedures I was to have; had investigated my medical history before I arrived at appt. i had immediate confidence in this very learned doctor. I had the procedure, I am healed and all is well !

Dr. Holtz didn’t even bother to look at my chart before he walked into the room. Had no idea I had advanced stage cancer. He was arrogant and rude and seemed completely disinterested. This man is in the wrong profession - very uncaring and cold. Too impressed with his own self importance to listen to his patient. There are many qualified doctors out there with compassion and I’ll be switching to one of them. Definitely would NOT recommend this doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Holtz by my obgyn. She didn’t know him personally but he’s in the same healthcare system. I have a history of advanced stage cancer and recently have had abnormal Pap tests and bleeding. Dr. Holtz was rude, arrogant, and a complete waste of my time. He didn’t even look at me when he was talking. He was in the room for no more than 5 minutes and in that time he showed himself to be a pompous a**. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

Dr Holtz was great from my diagnosis thru treatments. I am a 12 year survivor. He remains my OB/GYN to this date.

I was diagnosed and treated for cancer 8 years ago. I was seeing another oncologist until he recently retired. With that doctor, I was being seen every 6 months and each time that doctor was testing and treating a particular area where he "saw something that he wanted to keep an eye on". Fast forward to this doctor and who has no time at all for me. In fact an hour before my second appt with him, he had one of his staff call me and tell me if I didn't want to come in for that visit that was ok by the doctor. When I did show up, he had the PA do the exam and never even bothered to look. This isn't a dentist's office where a hygenist can do the cleanings - we're talking about an oncologist looking for cancer.

Process from diagnosis, thru surgery and follow up was excellent. Very caring doctor and office staff.

Went to see Dr Holtz for second opinion on cysts. First thing he says is "why are you here? Who sent you?" His website says he works with people with past LEEPs and cysts yet he said there wasn't much he could do, see a gynecologist. My gynecologist referred me to him. He also seems arrogant.

fortunate that my primary reccomended me to him! Kind , efficient, caring. My DaVinci surgery was successful. He followed up personally. Staff was extremely caring. Would recomend him in a heatbeat!
