David Hoang, MD, FACS

Dr. David Hoang is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in general surgery with 15 years of experience in the field. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his residency training at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Dr. Hoang holds the distinction of being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), which recognizes surgeons who have met rigorous standards for education, training, and ethical conduct. He provides care to patients in English.

Dr. Hoang practices at Lovelace Medical Group locations in Albuquerque, New Mexico, including their General Surgery department and the specialized Heartburn & Reflux Center. His expertise includes treating conditions such as hiatal hernia, diverticular disease, and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). He performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy to help patients with digestive health concerns.
