Good Dr.

My family has been going to Dr.David since he started being a doctor in his dads office. I can not say enough good about him, he has seen my family through alot of medical issues and has always had the utmost caring and compassion that I've ever seen from a doctor. He went above and beyond for the care of my Mom, we lost her in 2,005 and he was so compassionate and caring for myself and my family.We all love him and would not go anywhere else. As for his staff don't let a bad apple ruin the cart, because he has some really fantastic staff and nurses.

I have been a patient of the Mercer office for many years. The office staff has always been very rude and uncaring with no personalities. It is as though I am interrupting their day by requesting assistance with my health, "phone" nurse included. The only person who shows any compassion or any interest is the assistant who takes the vitals. Then doctor the enters with NO personality. It is near impossible to schedule a visit especially when you need it the most. When you do get an appointment, it can be with any number of doctors who doesn't know me or my history. Recently, my Neurosurgeon scheduled me for surgery. Unfortunatley, I came down with a cold sore the morning prior to surgery. With a visit to Hoyts office, I was told stress was probably the culprit and given an antiviral. Prior to leaving I specifically asked if I should make a follow up appointment. I was told NO, only if I was not healing. So imagine my surprise when I receive a call from the surgeons… office; Hoyts office would NOT clear me for surgery until I went back in....WHAT!! After asking why I was not told this when I asked or if they had any intentions on calling me, the nurse was very rude. She said she was not doing this with me and if I had a complaint to speak with the office manager. What a joke, as if she is any better!!!!! The surgeons office had also told me they were not nice. I would like to note, I understand the importance of being healthy for surgery and I too want this. I am unhappy with the lack of professionalism this office continues to express. I will be looking for a new GP for my entire family, as this was the last straw.

Worthless. Only doctor my wife has known. Can't get an appointment.

Dr. HOYT is amazing, I went to him my whole life. However, the front office staff is much to be desired. They are extremely rude and you would think the office manager Betty would lead by example; she is by far the worst. I hadn't seen Dr. Hoyt for six years due to my husbands military orders. Now that I moved back to the area I wanted to see my family doctor who watched me grow up. The office staff was extremely rude, Betty was the worst. I asked to speak to Dr. HOYT, they said I am not a patient of his so no and I could not see him because he is not excepting new patients. 19 years I saw Dr. Hoyt and now the from office staff say I'm considered a "new patient"? Dr. Hoyt is the kindest and most caring person I know. I just wish he hired those type of people for his front office staff.

dr david has been our family dr for 21 yrs..he is fantastic with kids and talk with you until the issue you are having is in the works of being resolved. a great dr and a good friend.HE CARES
