Dr. David A Hubbell

I had lost a crown on a front tooth & needed a temp crown right away,as I was leaving on vacation in a few days.They got me in, Dr.Hubbell did my temp crown & I was on my way ! (BTW,beautiful work-can't even tell it is a crown,much less a temp). I was supposed to go back to get my perm crown,but due to a long illness,haven't been able to go back. Because of the great work Dr.Hubbell did, the temp crown STILL looks GREAT and has never come loose & it has been 2 yrs. I WILL be returning to Dr.Hubbell to get the crown plus other work I need done, as soon as my health allows.

I don’t truly understand this review. You claim that a crown I did cake off after 5 years. It is certainly true that crowns can come off, however if you had returned to my office I would have recemented it or redone the crown at no charge to you if there was a problem with materials or manufacture of the crown. I wish you had left your name and I could talk to you about it. Sometimes the teeth we work with are in terrible condition before we try to save them which is why they need a crown to begin with. My question is the comment about the preparation. I will put my preparations against anyone’s. I try 100% of the time to be perfect. This part of the review makes me question if in fact I actually did that crown to begin with. If you contact me and let me see the tooth and the problem I will make it right for you. I’ve been going to Dr. Hubbell on and off for 25 years. I have family members who have had procedures above and beyond cleanings/regular exams, and all have gone very well. One of them was my wife, and the other was my own mother. I’ve gone to other dentists here and there and always end up returning to Dr. Hubbell. I would also use Dr. Hubbell for second opinions. He’s established and his practice isn’t hurting, so he’s not out to get your money like some other dentists. I would unquestionably recommend Dr. Hubbell to anyone, no matter what the problem is.

I was in 5yrs ago for a crown. The crown Dr Hubbell placed fell off and I had it cemented in by my now current dentist. He informed me of poor preparation of tooth. "This crown may fall out again as result of." Yes, it sure did. My insurance would cover a re-do crown after 7yrs. I paid a very high price with Dr Hubbell since he did not cover my insurance. I work for LISD and was surprised. My dentist explained exactly how Dr Hubbell failed to perform as a qualified responsible, knowledgeable dentist. I highly recommend NOT seeking dentistry care from this man
