Call him the gentle giant, he explained my options. Of course, I chose the one where the healing would be faster. Throughout the procedure he explained exactly what he was doing, which was very comforting. Got an appointment fast and his nurse was very courteous as well. Any kind of foot problems, highly recommend seeing him.

Dr Hughes has been caring for a problem nail I have. He is always kind and gentle. He listens carefully to his patients and explains everything very clearly. He’s even been kind enough to go above and beyond; by calling to check how my toe is doing, which saved us 4 hrs driving to and from San Antonio. I’ve never had a long wait time and all the staff is great! I would and have recommended him highly to friends and family.

It’s always a pleasant visit and concerns are always addressed. He makes sure he takes care of every issue I have. His staff is very nice to me and I would recommend anybody that has a foot problem to go see him

Found what another Podiatrist missed. I was so pleased to meet Dr. Huges today. For several months I’ve had a problem with my big toe being swollen, hot and painful. I saw another Podiatrist and he removed the nail. Long story short; over a month later I still had the same pain and swelling. Dr. Huges was so very kind, and listed to what I said and was truly concerned. We agreed to him doing some more investigation of the toe. Thankfully he found a rather large piece of nail the other doctor had left behind. I know this would have turned into another infection. I was so impressed with Dr Huges. I highly recommend him and doubt you could find anyone more kind, caring, invested in the patient and skilled. Thank you Dr Huges for the wonderful care! V Marais
