He had his license permanently revoked in NY!!! Avoid at all cost

Dr. Hunts diagnosis of locked neck and shoulder muscles was explained to me in layman terms. He did exert pressure at strategic areas of my neck, shoulders, and upper back to allow slightly improved head movement. He also approved applying hot/cold patches to the painful areas and head movement exercises. He prescribed Baclofen 10 mg pills. Unfortunately, I had a bad reaction to the Baclofen. I took one pill at bedtime and awakened 30 to 60 minutes later with a sharp pain in my upper chest and a burning sensation, then felt a gagging and belching force as I spit out some tiny amount of foam into the nearby basin. I did notice a 1 inch, very thin line of red(I guess blood) in bedded in the foam. I rinsed my mouth out with water, then drank a full glass of water, which cooled the burning in my throat and chest. I thought possibly the pill was not swallowed completely, although I did drink water with it. However, feeling no further distress, and experiencing some additional improvement in… head movement, I returned to my sleep, and decided to call Dr. Hunt's office in the morning.

HORRIBLE! The doctor talks to you like an idiot and Gail at the front is absolutely horrible to work with. She is beyond rude and the doctor will back her up even when she is wrong. They both need a serious attitude adjustment. I wouldn't go back to this office for anything.

Totally incompetent. Terrible superior attitude while being the single worst "doctor" I have ever been to. Should have never been given a license to practice period!

My Mom has been a patient for many years. There have been many issues but this was the last one that finally convinced my Mother to change PCP. My Mother came to Texas to visit us for the holidays, she fell down a flight of stairs she went by ambulance to the hospital she badly bruised her ribs and fractured her arm by her shoulder. We were told to make sure she follows up with an orthopedic surgeon when she gets back to Florida. The fracture had to be watched to make sure it was healing properly bc if not she would require surgery. More X-rays and physical therapy with an orthopedist was going to be very important. Her insurance requires a referral so I called Dr. Hunt’s office not only could I not get a referral over the phone but I could not get the required appt for the referral for my mom until the Dr. read the report from Hospital. One week later she finally gets in to see Dr. My Aunt who flew in from North Carolina to help my Mom was not allowed to go into the room with my… Mom. My Mother said “ she is my sister I want her to go in with me” they said unless my mom has dementia she cannot go in. UNBELIEVABLE!! Sadly the Dr. refused to give my Mother the referral saying he will send her for the X ray and care for her. We do not want him to care for her with this injury we want her to see an Orthopedist!!! The Dr. and his whole office staff are so unprofessional and hard to deal with that the only good thing that has happened is my Mother has finally changed her primary care physician. So I repeat “STAY AWAY”.

So refreshing to find a doctor who will take the time to really listen to his patients and who displays wonderful empathy and understanding as well as a wealth of knowlege. I never fell rushed and always feel listened to. He never talks down to me and respects my opinion if I ever disagree with him. We are fortunate to have a doctor like this in The Villages Fl.

I met Dr. Hunt in approximately 1995. I had planter fasciitis. His kindness, knowledge, and caring about what I was going through convinced me very quickly that he would be a wonderful primary care doctor. My husband also felt the same way. Very soon after we started going to him my husband had trigeminal neuralgia. He referred us to doctors that were far more knowledgeable than he was in that field, but he always wanted to hear every detail about what was going on, and he monitored the medications my husband was taking. My husband had a heart attack, and Dr. Hunt was there for him in every way. He referred us to a heart specialist, but again he took the time to monitor everything that was going on, and the procedure that was being used to correct the problem. He is honest, and he is opinionated especially about the proper use of medications. I have had pain, and he never hesitated to help me with it with medication. I might add that he was my 91 year old Mother's doctor.… He visited her in a nursing home, and he gave her the desire to live with his firmness and genuine care about her. She had 2 and a half more good years of life because he gave her the confidence to leave the nursing home. In the years that he was our doctor I honestly never had one single complaint about the care he gave to us.

I have seen Dr Hunt now for three years and he has been great.

At first he was fantastic acted like he really cared then my insurance changed and so did he. Time and attention paid to me was greatly shortened. I have changed Dr.s and will not be going back to him.
