Arrogant. Really feels he is more competent than he actually is. Would not recommend.

Dr. Johns is not a travel Doctor. Went in for my annual physical and to discuss meds need for a long trek in the Costa Rican rainforest. Dr. Johns did not want to discuss my medication requirements and told me that he only provided medications for conditions that he could verify. I was trying to get an antibiotic, Malaria medication and anti-nausea meds to take with me. Dr. Johns told me that I could purchase medications in the County I was traveling to. Not acceptable in my opinion or that of the CDC, as medications outside of the US are not regulated and my not be safe. In addition there will be times during this trek that I will be 2-3 days from medical care. Very disappointed.

Let me tell ya dr. Johns is good man.

Dr. Johns is thorough and careful. He also recommends other health practitioners readily when he feels a condition surpasses his areas of competence. He inspires confidence and trust in his patients.

Dr Johns always takes time to discuss all my problems and suggests a way to handle each. He has told me that he is going to save me in spite of myself. As I don't always listen to his directions. A great bedside manner. I recommend him highly. The staff is also great.
