Dr. David Allan Johnson, MD

I wen't in for a consult prior to scheduling a colonoscopy . Dr. Johnson was in no rush; he was very patient, explained the entire procedure and and how preparation is different, given that I am on blood thinners. He is obviously knowledgeable, experienced, and current. His manner is matter-of-fact and reassuring.

I'm a Crohn's patient. I have been in remission for 2 years under Dr. Johnson's care. He's kind, atient, he listens, and he definitely knows what he's doing.

I came to, after emergency surgery, and an angel had dropped Dr Johnson into my room. He listens, he's very humble, he's nationally recognized as tops in his field, but he doesn't act like it. Google his name, he's all over the net with papers and videos. Listed as one of the "25 GI doctors you need to know" on professional website. He is also Chief of Gastroeneterology, not just professor. I highly recommend him if you need a gasteroenterologist. Office staff is kind, and efficient, nurses are highly trained and experienced. He also takes Medicatr and Medicaid.

Recently changed affiliation from Carson Valley Medical Center to Carson Tahoe Hospital. Moved to new office at 395 & Hwy 88. He took the time to explain what was going on, and how to fix the problem, and how to avoid it in the future. Very caring. Better able to explain diagetes complication better than other Dr. I've seen. Highly recommend him to anyone. Tri-lingual (English, Spanish, Portugese.)
