Dr. David Britton Johnson, MD

Dr. Johnson missed vital signs regarding what my mother was dealing with. His nurse practitioner was treating my mother somehow for a foul smell in her private region. Apparently there was never a urine screening done, and so a UTI continued to the point that her kidney functions were suffering. Even with lowered kidney functions, and hallucinations, decreased mental functioning, confusion, etc. in an older patient, Dr. Johnson still did not have my mom pee in a cup for what is one of the simplest diagnostic tools a doctor has at their disposal. It's hard telling how long this went on even though she was seeing the doc regularly, and culminated in an ER visit for the mental health symptoms of a UTI followed by a hospitalization because IV antibiotics were needed it had gotten so bad. If her own doctor and/or his Nurse Practitioner had simply done their jobs, and performed what should be a standard diagnostic test months ago, this all could have been avoided. That combined with what in… my opinion is a terrible bed side manor have contributed to my low rating. The office itself is pretty good. Prompt attention, easy to get in, etc.

Always takes enough time at an appt. to finish. Found a cancer in an MRI that another doctor had ordered and missed.

Very professional and not a long wait time here.

Dr Johnson went beyond what is expected with my medical problem. He called me back after office hours and followed through until resolution. I am deeply grateful. Thank you.

Dr. Johnson is very polite,easy to talk with, looks at my records while talking with me.I like the way he works with my problems.
