Dr. David Kahn

David Khan is very excellent at what he does. His communication skills are clear and concise and he was even able to better help me understand the condition of my nephew (I'm not very medically versed). Overall, him and his staff helped me and my family and I'm very grateful to him.

My sister has been seeing Dr Kahn for the past year and under his care for chemo. On Dec 11 she was found unresponsive and hospitalized. Her condition improved and she was discharged from the hospital but had had a significant change. My sister was not thinking clearly and was physically declining. I called Dr. Kahn’s office to get some guidance and the reception staff were abrupt and would not tell me anything even though I was the health care surrogate. After the holidays I called the office to get an appointment ASAP. I was told that I had to verify that she had insurance. I called the agent for her insurance and that agent told me that the insurance was in good standing. In the mean time I called Dr Kahn’s office again to let them know that all we needed from him were orders for hospice care. When we got to the office the next day I learned that her insurance was not current and the doctor could not see her until she had insurance. My daughter and I got online and on the phone… with the insurance and discovered that my sister had changed or canceled all of her debit and credit cards. So finally after an hour, my daughter paid for the premium. The receptionist got a reference # and confirmation # we could see the doctor. In the mean sister had wandered off down the hall and was laying on the floor. The day prior to this appointment I spoke with the office manager to let her know that all we needed were the doctors referral to hospice. I did not get to talk to the doctor prior to his visit with my sister and when he saw her he did tell her the cancer was in her brain and then started rattling off different treatments that could be done. I told him I would like him to give us a hospice referral and he did. But when I was trying to ask him another question he was already talking to another patient and didn’t hear me at all. I think it is unbelievably inconsiderate and compassionate that we could not see the doctor for five minutes to get a hospice referral without proof of insurance. Unbelievable

We would like to express our Appreciation and Gratitude to Dr. David Kahn. He is an “Excellent and Incredible Oncologist/Hematologist.” Dr. Kahn has Impeccable bedside manners, he is very efficient and informative explaining the different types of Treatments. We also want to extend our deepest Thanks to Dr. Kahn Staff, his Office Manager Erin is Wonderful and she always goes Above and Beyond to assist you. The Nurses are so Compassionate, Knowledgeable and Gentle with the patients also the Phlebotomist Technicians do a Great job. The front office Staff is very Respectful, Kind and Professional to the Patient’s, especially Teresa who is always so Helpful. We have been a patient for the last couple years and their Caring Support in the office is Greatly Appreciated. We are immensely Satisfied and Grateful that Dr. Kahn was Highly referred to us by another Doctor. Also we are very pleased with our office visits and Painless Treatments. Anyone that’s needs a Competent,… Knowledgeable, Oncologist/ Hematologist, we will highly and definitely recommend Dr. Kahn to our Family, Friends and Neighbor's at South Florida Cancer Care

This provider has poor communication skills and does not instill confidence in treatment. In addition the office manager/ wife treats both office staff as well as patients with total lack of respect. General vibe at this office is not compassionate or caring mostly due to these issues. Overall have been extremely disappointed in level of treatment, communication and lack of compassion offered at this office.

Very good doctor and very thorough.

I went to Dr. Kahn's office early this year. Prior to this I had gone to 2 other doctors who couldn't give me an accurate diagnosis. He got my pathology and sent it out for a second opinion at John's Hopkins University. It turned out I had a rare form of lymphoma. The MA' s were nice and friendly and only stuck me once. I have very difficult veins. In addition the chemotherapy nurses Cheryl and Jennifer provided me with literature and counseling. I highly recommend him.

Can you imagine going to an Oncologist and the nurse does not know how to properly take blood ? The doctor himself is no better . Very unconcerned about my declining condition . Choose someone else .
