Dr. David Kantor, MD

Dr. David B. Kantor, MD, PhD, is a pediatric critical care physician at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he serves as a Senior Associate in Critical Care Medicine within the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine and is an Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School. He cares for critically ill children in the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit and is involved in precision medicine initiatives. Dr. Kantor earned both his MD and PhD in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University, completed his pediatric internship and residency through the Boston Combined Residency Program, and pursued fellowship training in pediatric critical care at Boston Children’s Hospital. Board-certified in critical care medicine, his clinical and research work focuses on improving outcomes for critically ill pediatric patients, including studies related to respiratory illness and critical care decision-making.
