Everything about the experience was excellent. Dr Kao and staff were compassionate and caring throughout the entire process. This was my 2nd visit to his practice and if (hopefully not) I have to have surgery again for skin cancer I will come back to Dr Kao.

After having a horrible experience with another dermatologist, I was so relieved to have Dr. Kao do my skin cancer removal. He was professional, explained things well, was very gentle and did a nice job stitching me up. I would definitely recommend him.

I had a cancer on my nose and even though I had to wait over 2 months to get in to see this doctor it was well worth the wait. He is very professional, but not stiff and stuffy. He has repaired my face and if I wore any makeup at all it would be totally invisible. It has only been 3 weeks and it looks great.

My experience at Dr. David Kao's office was a great one. From the time I checked in to the time I checked out, Dr. Kao and his entire staff made me feel like I was the only patient there. Everyone was caring, kind and compassionate. Everyone performed their procedures with careful attention to detail. I would recommend Dr. David Kao to anyone for Skin Care needs.

I was referred to Dr. Kao by my Dermatologist to remove some skin cancer on my nose. It was large enough that it required extensive cosmetic surgery. No one can believe I had such major surgery based on how invisible my scarring is. I have since heard Dr. Kao is the best cancer surgeon in the Portland area. He was amazing to work with.
