David Kaplan, MD

David Kaplan, MD, is an experienced internal medicine physician with a focus on preventive health care. He adeptly addresses a wide array of acute and chronic conditions, including venous thromboembolism, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and infectious diseases. Dr. Kaplan's care philosophy revolves around helping patients navigate complex health issues through problem-solving and evidence-based decision making, and he is committed to providing rational, up-to-date, and compassionate health care to all his patients. After earning his BS in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology from Arizona State University, Dr. Kaplan obtained his MD from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah, where he was also an Associate Professor of Medicine. Beyond his medical practice, enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, reading, running, and telling dad jokes.
