My daughter and I was comfortable with him. He even took time to talk to me about how the procedure went along with what he seen.

So thankful to Dr. Karas for helping our son who had an airway defect. He is amazing and explained everything he was thinking/doing each step of the way, even coming to talk to us in the middle of surgery about what he was finding/next steps and showing us pictures before moving forward. Very happy with him and the care our son has gotten at the North Haven office. I had one serious issue with a staff member at Madison. I brought it to the practices attention and believe they handled it well. Staff at North Haven has been great.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. STAY AWAY!

Dr karas was very patient with me and answered all my questions with regard to my daughter needing the surgery. His office staff are extremely friendly and patient. Thank goodness the surgery went smoothly. I recommend Dr. Karas.

My 2yo son had high-freq hearing loss due to fluid. Karas was unhurried and very attentive before, during, and after surgery.

While I don't have a problem with the surgery my son had, it lead to a side effect that required more surgery. That would have been ok, but the office staff refused to give me an appointment with the Dr and insisted I could only see an APRN. The DR. only saw my child when he was out cold on the OR table...never before or after surgery when coherent. If he had given us any time of day to address concerns, it would have been an ok experience. Now I am left finding a new surgeon for reconstruction. I am very disatisfied and sadly, didn't have to be.
