Dr. David Ben Karty, MD

Dr. Karty is an excellent physician. He has always been spot on in diagnosing any issues I have. He is kind, caring and very intelligent.

Dr Karty gives you options and you choose. He seems to believe that the best course of action is the one you will stick to.

My husband and I became Dr Karty's patients i believe in 2000 or 2001 He has always been a fabulous physician to both of us making sure that we were referred to specialists when needed it. He took excellent care of my husband when my husband became very sick. I trust Dr Karty with my life. I highly recommend him

have taken my teenage son in for several things and he is wonderful. Always has a smile, making you feel comfortable. He really listens and is truthful about tests and when I shoudl be really concerned about and when not to. He explains things! Office staff is timely and nice. Great experience for a change. We have been in for a sports check up with an EKG requested by me, strep test and a miscellaneous.

Im pretty picky when it comes to doctors and picking one to treat my family. However small or seemingly unimportant your issue(s) may seem to another, when you bring something of the like up to your doctor, I feel as though at that moment your issue(s) should be important enough to him/her to address it in kind as though it is just as important to them as it is to you. I didnt get that with Dr. Karty. There was something stand-offish about him. He just didnt make me feel comfortable and feeling comfortable with your doctor is kind of important (especially for a woman and/or mother). He was laid back and cordial enough, I suppose he seemed knowledgeable, and he spent more than enough time addressing whatever concerns I brought up, but I never felt that my concerns were taken seriously enough to warrant more than his condescension. It was almost .. lazy. The office is in a good location, its clean and comfortable, and better than 90% of the staff was friendly (some even fun) and… helpful, but I dont think that I would recommend Dr. Karty himself to friends or family.

I was new to the area and just luckily got place with this doctor! He was quick and knew exactly what to do. In 2 days I was as good as new! Thanks doc!!

Dr. Karty will spend time to go through his process of diagnosis with you rather than trying to appear as an omniscient being. He'll explain the possibilities, go over implications, discuss treatment options and consequences, etc. I have been seeing him for 2 years as my PCP and I would recommend any of my friends and family to see him as well.

Dr. Karty was accompanied by an intern and I felt like the third wheel, and the bunt of some inside joke. When giving me the diagnoses he kept reciting medical school Acronyms to the intern that had nothing to do with my case. Furthermore; they kept exchanging smirking glances that made me feel uncomfortable.

Dr Karty in my experience was very unprofessional. It was my first time seeing him. His exam rooms are filled with personal crap that is not in line with a business decor. He was condesending and used curse words not at me but in my presence. For meeting a patient for the first time or even if I was a long time patient, I find very unprofessional. My first visit to him was my last.
