Dr. David Ori Kateb, MD

Not even sure where to start. The staff at the front desk are nice but the doctor is not. He walked in the room and proceeded to tell me what he said to me the last time that we met. I advised him that this was my first time meeting him. He then said that this was in his notes. So he admitted to falsifying documents.(My 1st visit was with a PA and 2nd was with a unprofessional tech) He didn’t acknowledge what I said to him, just told me to get on the examination table. I refused and told him that I didn’t feel comfortable with him. He gave me my chart and I walked out. Discovered that my test had my name listed but had the opposite sex and race listed as being mine. The test also indicated that I could barely breathe. Not true. I am reporting all of this to my insurance company and the AMA. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE!!!

I have been coming to this office for years and have never found anything but professionalism, kindness, and concern for my health. The doctor is informative and shares his knowledge by completely covering all aspects of my questions, making sure I understand what is going on.

I was referred by close friends to Dr. Kateb's office for my medical marijuana needs. I understand this is a new industry for S. Florida with many rules and regulations which must be followed. I recently moved here from Northern Florida where I have waited 2 to 3 hours to get my supplies. This was even when I placed the order on line and just wanted to pick them up. Dr. Kateb's office follows all the state regulations and double checks your information so there are no mistakes( this takes time) but not as long as it did back home. I will be telling my friends and relatives about the great service and informative details that keeps my prescriptions in force. I highly recommend his practice above all.

Dr. Kateb takes the time to explain everything so you can leave with a clear mind and calm feeling. I have been going now for a couple of years and it is always a pleasure.

Excellent experience. The staff was friendly and Dr. Kateb was very professional and took his time to answer all of my concerns. I would definitely recommend.

The staff is horribly uneducated about pretty much everything. I had to explain to them the marijuana rules. They can’t process information. Skanky office curb appeal, worse on the inside. Ugh. My wait time total was 1 1/2 hours.

Rips people off “requiring” an extra mm rx.

I came into this office to retrieve some of my medical information. One of the staff members made extra copies on accident which isn’t a problem. However, instead of shredding the paper work they just threw it away. I asked if she was going to take the trash to a shredder her reply was “we don’t have one” being concerned about my personal information I asked the young lady if she could at least give me the extra copies out the trash and I would take care of it myself. All they do with patient information is throw them in the trash. I’ve also have came to pick up paperwork that had to be done in a timely manor and was told it would be done two days after. When I went to pick up the paperwork three days after I was told it “wasn’t done.” I wasn’t able to get my paperwork until FOUR days after it was due. This place is beyond unprofessional and I would not trust them with any personal information. I can’t imagine how many other rules they’re breaking. Not to mention the health code with… leaking ceilings, bugs on the floor, and dirty floors.

This office is absolutely disgusting. I’ve never in my life seen a doctors office so dirty. If you are concerned for you’re health please go elsewhere. I have seen roaches in the office and leaks from the ceiling. I also got sick from a reused mouth piece on the breathing treatment. The staff is not the issue it’s the owners themselves. A doctors office should be clean and sanitary. They also charged me a 70 dollar copay when it was not the correct amount it was suppose to be around 30 dollars. Please stay away from this place. I have witnessed many patients walk out due to waiting over 2 hours to see the doctor. Please take my advice.

I came to the office as a new patient and couldn’t believe what I saw. First I would like to say the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. There was work being done on the office and to my daughter and I it looked nice. However, the doctor walked to the front of the office into the waiting area and was screaming and slamming stuff at someone who was putting up the tv. Not only did he yell and slam stuff but then he started to yell at his staff and throw everything on the counter on the front desk. I couldn’t believe what I had seen it was disgusting the way he was acting and treating other I am warning all my friends not to step foot in this office.
