Dr. David Paul Kelsey, MD

Back in 1991, Dr. Kelsey performed two of five projected hair transplant sessions---utilizing the now-outdated "plug" method---on me at one of the Chambers Hair Institute clinics. I didn't have him complete it because he obviously wasn't doing a very good job: the plugs were poorly placed and got only about a 65-to-70% yield. (Also, I could smell alcohol on his breath.) In 1996, I had a world-class hair transplant surgeon fix and finish the job via the follicular-unit method and was told by his consultant/scheduler that Kelsey lasted at the Chambers Hair Institute only about two years because of his drinking and performance of several botched surgeries. The consultant/scheduler had met Kelsey once and commented: "He's an odd person. You'd never guess he's a doctor." Vic, an employee of Dr. Kelsey, commented, "It appears bald men can never be happy." This epitomizes Dr. Kelsey's cavalier and careless attitude toward his hair transplant clients. No, Vic, bald men are VERY unhappy… when they're the victims of poorly performed hair transplantation surgeries ... especially those performed by a drunken dwarf. (I lost five years of my social life because of mine.)

Dr. David P. Kelsey started out as a family practitioner in Wisconsin and then became a hair transplant "surgeon" for the Chambers Hair Institute, which was founded, owned, and operated by the late bigamist Dr. Constantine Chambers. After botching several surgeries under the influence of alcohol, he parted ways with them to start his own hair transplant clinic in Michigan. After botching more surgeries there, he retreated into once again becoming a family practitioner in Michigan. And, to add insult to injury, he has the personality of a Central Casting used car salesman.

The only thing this site has correct if Dr. Kelsey's name and school. All locations and phones are incorrect. not a reliable site. Reviews are usually written by disgruntled people and are never checked or verified. Dr. Kelsey has never lost a license or been accused of drinking. FALSE FALSE FALSE INFO. I work with Dr. Kelsey and he has NEVER EVER lost a license in any state. It appears bald men can never be happy.
