I have been a patient of Dr Kim’s since moving to Atlanta 8 years ago. He and his staff always go above and beyond. He clearly communicates what is going on with you, next steps and what we are going to about it. I value the entire SMYRNA team.

Dr. Kim, and everyone in his office, has been very kind, attentive and professional.

Dr. Kim listens to you! He is thorough and does what is in the best interest of the patient.

Was great in diagnosing me with a bad gallbladder, when no one else was able to determine what was going with me. Ended up getting him since PCP was out that day and numerous visits to PCP. Dr. Kim suspected it was my gallbladder and not gallstones. I thank God for him.

The other reviews are spot on. Dr. Kim did not spend any time with me, did not address ANY of my concerns because he didn't even care to listen to me. I felt so neglected when they hurried me out that I actually asked the nurse if Dr. Kim could take a few more moments to actually address my concerns. This of course resulted in her nasty attitude, and although Dr. Kim did return, it was simply to argue with me about what he would NOT do instead of helping me with what he COULD do. I would have had more success searching the web for help. It was one of the worst experiences, I will not go back and do not recommend unless you have no concerns and just want a quick routine check up or something.

Unfortunately, these people are just interested in billing you. I have never received a straight answer re: diagnosis and they are very controlled about medication. Heaven forbid you run out of refills, cause they will charge you for an appt. every time you need a re-fill. They're about the money, not the care....

Dr. Kim often seems "hurried" and unwilling to listen. He can be curt and seem uncaring at times. I've waited as long as one month to receive test results from his office following a physical and I've had to call to get the results mailed to me. I don't always feel confident that Dr. Kim cares that much about my health, and I wonder what level of care I'd receive if I ever have a serious health issue. I'm lucky to be in basically good health, so I haven't had the experience of seeing how this doctor would relate to me if I was in need of critical care. I basically stay with his practice because he took over after my former doctor retired, and at first, I expected him to be a good replacement. Dr. Kim is on my insurance plan which designates the physicians I am allowed to choose from, and his office is closer to my house than any of the others on the "approved" list.
