Dr. David Kirschen, a distinguished optometrist with over 51 years of experience, is dedicated to delivering personalized and highly effective eye care. Operating at Customized Vision Care, his commitment to patient well-being and clear vision is unwavering.Originating from Modesto, California, Dr. Kirschen pursued his education at the University of California-Berkeley, earning a Bachelor's degree in optometry, an OD in optometry, and a PhD in physiological optics. His impressive academic journey includes a fellowship with Professor Merton C. Flom, showcasing his dedication to advancing his field.As a Fellow of the American Academy Of Optometry and former chair of the American Academy of Optometry Foundation, Dr. Kirschen's expertise is well-regarded in the professional community. Currently overseeing eight MLB teams, his contributions have earned him 6 World Series rings.Beyond his private practice, Dr. Kirschen has held key positions, including Chief of Binocular Vision and Orthoptic Services at the Jules Stein Eye Institute and currently as a Professor Emeritus at the Southern California College of Optometry.
