Dr. David Samuel Kleinman IV, MD

I have nothing to say, but good, about Dr. Kleinman, he diagnosed me, and immediately, with Graves disease, and later, with Graves eye disease, both Dr. Kleiman, and his wife, Dr. Laurel Feinman, a Neuropthamologist, literally saved my life, I recommend Dr. Kleinman highly.

This was by far the worst experience with a doctor that I have ever had. This was the first time I was seeking him. His behavior was very strange and almost difficult to explain. He was rude and condescending and did not listen at all. It was difficult to understand him as did not clearly explain anything that he was stating. He contradicted himself and provided conflicting opinions of his diagnosis which was very unclear. He should not be practicing medicine and seeing patients. Avoid this doctor

I moved to Jackson from wayne and went through 4 endocrinologist that all were treating me like I just acquired type 1 juvenile diabetes I was 15 months old and he has helped me to continue my life when doctors told my mom I would not survive ty dr kleinman for being so good and helping me for over 7 years

Probably in all my years of having health care this is the worst doctor I ever met. No compassion, talks although not listen,. He questioned me why I was there yet never offered advice. He would not shake my hand...he was arrogant. I will not ever tell anyone to go to this doctor. Several times during our meeting I just wanted to stand up and walk out. As a successful businessman for 30 years where communication was priority this Doctor lacks in all parts,. Secondly his medical advice was none to vague. Please, if this is a doctor on your list...save yourself time, self assurance and money and take him off your list

if you have truble with your suger, this is the dr. for you. dont bother to go any where else. he is the top of the line

He had a completely wrong diagnosis..condescending and the antithesis of a bed side nanner. Has no compassion....not even eye contact! Stay away!

Yes, he was extremely easy to book an appointment with (that should have been a red flag) and the office staff plus his assistant, Tess, were very nice, but Dr. Kleinman is THE worst doctor I have ever seen. Not only did he admit to me he "wasn't very good at determining when a patient is coming out of remission" (I was hyperthyroid and labs went immediately back into range after starting meds), he was verbally abusive multiple times to me, did not actually address any new issues that arose (just ran through his checklist like a robot), and - now that I have seen other endos and been diagnosed with Graves' (officially - someone needs to tell Kleinman you need bloodwork, not guessing, to determine this) and Hashimoto's - he clearly knows nothing about diagnosing or truly treating thyroid conditions (or AI diseases). He actually YELLED at me when I brought him bloodwork from another doctor supporting that I had reactive hypoglycemia (and endocrine problem) that there was nothing… wrong with me. If you are into doctors that admit there lack of medical prowess and will make you feel worse after each visit, Kleinman is your man. OH! Almost forgot: as best as I can tell, from overhearing his interactions with elderly diabetic patients, he is actually sympathetic and caring.

I Had a good experience with Dr. Kleinman and his staff. He is extremely intelligent and spent a lot of time answering all of my questions and I was able to get an appointment quickly. I would highly recommend him

I personally think he's a great doctor. He's smart as a whip, he even has a sense of humor which is rare with doctors these days. I highly recommend him.
