Dr. David Joiner Knapp, MD

I've been with Dr. Knapp for 25 years. I find him to be very knowledgeable and trustworthy. A little hard to get immediate appointments with, but understandable since he is in practice by himself. I highly recommend him.

I have always had nothing but caring and friendly service from Dr. Knapp and his office staff.

I just recently had my annual checkup with Dr Knapp in Montgomery and it was horrible I was so disappointed nobody's friendly especially the one Teresa she has bad customer service and need to work on her attitude and Dr Knapp when he comes in the room he examined you in a chair he look in your ears listen to your heart and look in your mouth and that's it he don't even take the time to ask you what's going on do you have any problems he rushed you right up out of the room and don't give you a chance to talk to him about nothing I was already feeling bad and I just was so disappointed I think I need to be looking for me another doctor because I don't know what is going on there it is horrible now ????????????

2 minutes after walking in to see me- he showed me the door. This Dr. flat refused to take me on as his patient after I couldn't list my "top 3 symptoms" in under 5 seconds. When I spoke of dealing with long-standing, multi-symptom illness, a chronic condition- he shut his laptop and said "I won't be able to help you." He refused to give me a valid reason why and left the room. Bottom line- If you have anything more complicated than a common cold or flu, don't see this guy. He is a lazy Dr. in my opinion. If he can't easily diagnose and throw several RXs at you in a span of 5 minutes, he's not interested. Don't waste your time!
