Dr. David J Kohns, DO

Dr. Kohns did a thorough job of listening, explaining, and recommending. Felt he was truly trying to help not push unnecessary expensive treatment and meds.

Dr. Kohns seemed to not be interested in my pain. He let a resident do ALL of my history and he asked me almost nothing when he came into the exam room. He told me everyone my age had the degree of sciatica pain I had as if it was nothing. However, in his defense, he prescribed physical therapy which has all but eliminated my sciatica which was limiting my life's activities. He is good at what he does but his personal interactions are sadly sub-par.

I was a new patient and he didn’t want to hear what my problem was. He caught me off several times. I would expect that a DO would have better patient etiquette.

The secret of my awesome recovery is a doctor who is simply extraordinarily, who is able to understand not just the numbers on my reports, but also the distress I was under. Thank you doctor Kohns!
