my son was supposed to start pre k last week, but needed a physical first. my fiance contacted the i office to request a copy to be faced over to the school. the f ollowing Monday, we attempted to drop or son at school, but was informed that they had not yet received the copy of his physical form. I called the Dr's office and Kendra ( manger) answered. I explained that the school stilll hadnt received my son's form. she acted as though she didn't know who was supposed to had sent it ( and she was the one we spoke to the week prior). I asked if it could be refaxed, and I'd she could call me to confirm it had been. Kendra told me she would. long story short, she never called me to let me know they had refaced it, therefore causing my son to miss the time to check in for school. i made a trip up to the office to ask her why she didn't call me and she smirked at me and said she was too busy. I asked to speak to someone of higher authority and she asked me why. I explained that… it was none of her concern at that point, so she told me there was one one higher than her except for the Dr. I asked to speak with him and she told me he was too busy. I said I would call and she laughed at me, said said okay. have a good day. she was extremely unprofessional and sarcastic. I wish I could report her, but have no idea to who

When I walke into the office I was not greeted upon moving up to the desk. The staff was involved in a heated personal conversation that was not for patients to hear. Once checked in my wait was 30 minutes and then the staff that took me back to the room was rather cold, showing little concern for me. After waiting in the room for 20 minutes, the doctor danced around my questions and concerns, which led him to writing a script and sending me on my way. This did not leave me feeling comfortable. I am in search of another medical provider and will be forwarding this experience with higher up.

I saw Dr Kortje for years, and time went on he began acting as though he did not care about what was going on with his patients. He never wanted to listen to what was wrong with you. He never seemed to know really anything about you. he did not spend time with you and the time he did spend, was really spent playing with his new little computer. his bedside manner sucked too. and the office staff would never call with results of tests, you always ended up calling them, and when you did they seem to act as though you where bothering them. He was so pre-ocuppied with something else that he did diagnose me wrong. He said that I had a cyst on my knee, and that if it did not get any better with the meds he gave me he would have to cut it out. I go to another doctor and find out that it is a varicose vein. so I guess it was good that i CHANGED DOCTORS.
