Dr. David Patrick Kraker, MD

I first met Dr. Kraker in 1990's. He has done multiple surgeries on me - People can not believe how well I am getting around.(No walker, no wheelchair, no cane) ALL because of the skill, compassion, dedication of this much talented physician.

Reading other patients comments threw me for a loop! Dr. Kraker saw me 1st in the hospital after a cruise filled with pain. He listened to my symptoms and pain levels and told me the same thing the ER Doctor had told me. I did end up waiting to have surgery but that wasn't because of anything he or his office did. I found him to be thorough, compassionate, caring and very patient. When I did finally have surgery, I was out of the hospital in a day as he said and my pain was managed well. If you want a surgeon who is going to listen to your issues, care about you and do reparative surgery, then I would recommend you meet Dr. Kraker. I wouldn't see anyone else. The sometimes long waiting room stays were well worth the information you get out of your appointment.

This man saved my life, one of the most empathetic health care providers of the twin cities. His staff is wonderfull and patient, while dealing with my stressful, some times hectic, battle with my back issues. ????? 5 smiles out of five smiles...........

I have waited over FOUR YEARS for Dr Kraker to fill out paper work for my work comp attorney. He made promise after promise and still hasn't done them! I put up with his always being at least an hour or more behind for appointments because I thought he was a decent guy but I was wrong. Today I am going to his office and pick up all my files to give to a new surgeon. If you are a work comp patient find some one else!! You will drive your self insane waiting on him. He has cost me more than money...I have lost all faith in his ability as a surgeon.

I went to see Dr. Kraker after two friends recommended him after their surgery. I didn't wait too long before being called into the patient room. Once in the patient room his assistant came in to speak to me and answer any questions I had. She did an excellent job. After my second visit and having another recommended ct scan and xrays I saw him again, he seems to be very thorough in making sure he has any necessary tests done to make sure he makes the best diagnosis. He was concerned of making sure I didn't have to come in at a later time to have my back opened up again later due to other vertebraes that looked distressed. He was booked solid but made sure I was able to get in right away with him. Although I think some patients may have had to wait awhile I think it is because he and his staff are very thorough. I would rather wait and have a thorough Dr. than be rushed and have a Dr. who doesn't care and is only in it for the money.

Was pushing for me to have surgery done, to the point of almost begging me. I felt that he was only interested in the money for the surgery.

Dr. Kraker is phenomenal!
