Dr. David Ernest Kroessler, MD

I first knew Dr. Kroessler when he took care of my mother at the end of her life. He helped me know what to do for her and I found him to be a caring doctor then. I struggle with depression and when my medication stopped working I felt hopeless. The physical heaviness was overwhelming. I called Dr. Kroessler and he started me on a new medication right away. I saw that he was very knowledgeable, understood my condition and my concerns. He was calming and eased my mind. I found him very easy to talk to. He also encouraged me to call him anytime I needed. I felt his strong support right away. During our visits he has always listened and answered my questions and addressed my concerns in a honest and helpful way. We have never ended a discussion where he hasn't given me helpful suggestions, been re-assuring and has encouraged me to move forward. Knowing someone who genuinely cares and tries to help is in-valuable. I would not be in a better place today if it wasn't for Dr.… Kroessler. I value him as a doctor and I am very grateful for all he has done.

Did not take the time to get to know me at all. Took me off a medication without tapering. Rescheduled for a month later and would not fill a different Rx that has severe withdrawals and dangers if suddenly stopped. Bad reputation at pharmacy, they actually gave me a name of a good doctor!

This doc is burned out. He cares more about his hair. The thing is about 15 years ago he was the best doc ever. He saved me by listening to me. Now he is a burnt shrink. Don’t trust his judgement if you need help.

this doctor has no specialty training in addiction yet treats those suffering from addiction. Make sure any doctor you see for addiction treatment has done a fellowship in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry other wise they are a not trained and likely in it for the money not to help ==

Very cold

Dr Kroessler has little knowledge about major topics in psychiatry, and his prescriptions can be dangerous. He is pompous and does not listen to the patient. He is more interested in proving himself right than he is in the welfare of the patient. Stay away from this doctor.

made sudden changes that resulted in me being hospitalized even forgot what medicine i was on and gave me the wrong one, raises his voice, barely checks med drug levels avoid this guy like the plague

My first clue that something was wrong was when both of his associates quit, then the office where I was seeing him closed. Each time I was forced to change doctors in his practice, I was charged a higher evaluation fee since it was my first visit with the new doctor. Now I was stuck with Dr. K. I just do not like his manner, demeanor, attitude etc. I am changing doctors.
