I recently had bunion surgery, which is healing according to expectations. Dr. Kuester advised me before the procedure that the recovery time would be about 8 + weeks. His advice to keep the foot elevated, apply ice, and take the pain medications the first few days was greatly appreciated. I was able to keep the pain at bay and found that by continuing elevating and icing I was able to skip the pain meds, using ibuprofen when needed. I highly recommend Dr. Kuester to anyone looking for a skilled and personable orthopedic surgeon. His staff is friendly and knowledgable also.

Dr Kuester did an excellent job helping me through my ACL injury. I was determined to return to sports after surgery and he was very clear with me about what to expect after surgery and how to maximize my potential so that I could get back to 100%. Back to playing and feel great!

As an avid runner presenting with a hip injury, I found that Dr. Kuester provided a clear and complete explanation of my diagnosis and prognosis, skillful treatment, and creative options to help me continue my exercise regimen. I appreciated his candor and encouragement in discussing my issue, and the time he took to answer all my questions. I have recommended Dr. Kuester to family and friends.
