Very Good DR

My husband had a tumor removed by Dr. Kvam several years ago. He is the most wonderful doctor. Before the operation he explained everything in detail of where the tumor was and how he would remove it. Everything went so well. Every year we go back for a follow up, and he still sits and spends time with us. He is a rare gem. Even his nurse is wonderful.

Dr. Kvam has to be one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. He takes time as though you are his only patient. He explains exactly what is going on with pictures, xrays or anything else he can use to make you understand. He is a most skilled surgeon, and I would recommend him to anyone.

We always leave his office feeling better than when we arrived (which has not been the case with some of our other Dr.s); his positive and caring attitude (along with a touch of goofiness) has done wonders helping us deal with a scary and depressing diagnosis. (How often does one laugh their way through a nasty post-surgical procedure?). We love him.

Dr. Kvam diagnosed and removed a pituitray tomor for me in 1990. He was absolutely wonderful. He also has excellent bedside manners. Both in and out of the hospital,Dr Kvam anticipated my needs.

He sat down looked at my mri and said, "your back has normal degeneration, you don't need surger, so there's nothing I can do for you. I recommend swimming therapy, pain management and lose weight. Goodbye."It wasn't necessary for me to be there, he wasted my time, could have just sent my mri.

Dr. Kvam removed a very large tumor from my brain last year, and on the one year anniversary of the operation my MRI is totally clear and I am well. He is a lovely person, and an accomplished surgeon. He is kind, I was never afraid. His team is fabulous and his office extremely well run.I cannot imagine that there is a better doctor.

Dr Kvam is confident, professional, quiet in mannerand caring in his approach. He explains his diagnosisin a clear way that does not cause anxiety.
