Dr. David Lainoff, MD

Dr. Lainoff took me on as a patient after Crozier abruptly closed and i had no physician. Since then, he has seen me in person, via telehealth, and numerous messaging on the Christiana Care portal. He is kind and considerate. He answers messages very quickly and saw me for an urgent visit via telehealth to make sure my needs were met quickly. He uses evidence based medicine and is a very good diagnostician. I feel very confident in his decisions and glad to have him on my team. Everyone on the staff has been extremely helpful and kind as well. I recommend Dr. Lainoff highly.

I have been seeing Dr. Lainoff for about a year now, since moving out East. He is one of the better Drs. I've seen in my adult life. He is an excellent listener, and when I first started seeing him, he spent a lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong. He spent a good deal of time with me and explained things very well to myself and my husband. He always asks my opinion on a treatment and lets me voice any concerns. He takes everything I say into account when deciding what he wants to do. He is excellent at follow ups anytime I need them, and he spends a good amount of time with me each time. I have a lot of allergies and he is only 1 of a couple Drs. who bother to look at my chart and check my allergies against anything he may prescribe or want to do. I have been continuing to see him and nothing has changed, he continues to be a good listener and do whatever he can to make sure I am comfortable, to figure out what is wrong, a treatment plan, etc. He has recommended some… other specialists I need to see, that I have been really happy with as well. I have found it is really hard to find a Dr. anymore that truly cares for their patients. Dr. Lainoff does and it shows.

After reading the last review I couldn't help but wonder if this was the same doctor I've had for over 6 years ? Dr. Lainoff encourages me to ask questions, listens to my concerns, and allows me to participate in my recovery process. I trust his judgement, and am allowed to disagree. He clearly explains everything to my satisfaction. There are times he allows me to choose the course of action to be taken. When he feels it necessary, I am sent to a trusted specialist. I've followed Dr. Lainoff to all his new locations, and will continue to do so. At my age I have many doctors over the years. I trust Dr. Lainoff with my life! Isn't that all we need to know ?

No personality. Terrible bedside manner. Insulted me by telling me I'm over weight. Who does he think he is? He's over weight. He was an hour late coming in to the room, I heard him being loud and joking around with the staff. He asked me to come in for a follow up, when I came in he couldn't remember why I was here. He tells bad jokes and has terrible breath. I asked the staff if I could switch to Dr. Trinkley, he was not accepting new patients at this time. I heard he is wonderful.
