Dr. David Scott Lambert, MD

Dad was admitted through the ER, and I left work early from out of state to rush there to be with him. When I inquired if Dr Lambert had served in the Armed Forces because of his lanyard, he gave me a sarcastic and dismissive answer. My dad looked surprised, knowing that I had served 15 years as an Officer in the Armed Forces including tours to the Gulf. He treated my dad as if he were an inconvenience and treated me as if I were unimportant. I guess he assumed that because we were minorities that we were uneducated and a nuisance, and couldn’t see the four degrees, two Ivy-league degrees, and veteran in the room with him.

After not treating my loved one for the ailment and pain he arrived in the ER with, he waited four hours and returned him in worse shape to his nursing home at 2:30 am in the middle of a blizzard. He's all heart. He's the kind of guy who's been told he's just wonderful his whole life. Time to move onto Plan B, because you are all out of pretty.

I'd been in the ER with pain from kidney stones. After waiting some time for him, he basically had nothing to offer me in terms of pain management (I'd been there for 5 hours). After he left the bay, I heard him exclaiming to the nurse "She's not my patient!" Very professional. I was very unimpressed with him and certainly wouldn't want to rely on him in an emergency.
