Dr. David Mitchell Landsberg, MD

During my recent stsy in the ICU at Crouse Hospital, I was blessed to have been under the care of Dr. Landsberg and his team. In a teaching hospital it is not uncommon for a group of doctors to come into your room and discuss you and your case as if you weren't there. Not so my experience. Dr. Landsberg and his entire team engaged me in conversation and discussion of my diagnosis and plan of treatment. Took time to answer any questions and concerns I had. Looked me in the eye....that is so important to me....when speaking to me! He is definitely one of the best in the biz and is teaching his students, interns, residents and fellows to be the same....deeply caring and GENUINELY compassionate! Dr. Landsberg, sir you are a breath of fresh air! THANK YOU!

I was very seriously ill in the ICU. Not only did he save me, he treated my family extremely well. While they all live around an hour from the hospital I was in, all with their own local hospitals, they all have said that if any of them are seriously ill, they want to go to the facility where they saw him taking care of me. He was very direct with them, while also demonstrating an excellent bedside manner. He gave them all of the time they needed, never seeming distracted or rushed in any way. As I am 52 years old, I have had experience with many doctors. He is the best! I did not mark some of the fields with stars because the categories are not applicable for a hospital stay.
