We were told to take off her mask because we look ridiculous. He was breathing heavily maskless and coughed multiple times without covering his mouth within 1 to 2 ft of my daughter. Did not examine my daughter appropriately and was dismissive.

I brought my daughter into urgent care to be evaluated for a skin rash. Not only was Dr. Lang not able to identify the cause of the rash, he stated a few things to my eight year old daughter that were outside of the scope of this visit. First he told her to "take off the mask, and that they [the mask] didn't work anyway. She likely got the rash from wearing the mask on an airplane that she shouldn't have been wearing a mask on." This comment was 100% inappropriate. The medical center's policy was to still wear masks at all times. I don't need the personal diatribe from an MD when it doesn't relate to the reason that I'm in urgent care. In fact, it actually makes me trust his opinion a lot less given his views. Secondly he commented on my daughters Celiac disease by stating that he has the same but chooses not to follow the diet. My eight year old does not need to hear from a doctor. I'm guessing he is a filler doctor and Health Partners was just looking to fill a shift.
