Dr. David Charles Larsen, MD

Honestly, it was hard for me to believe he was a doctor at all. When I first went in for my depression, he never looked me in the eye, he never asked me any questions. He just gave me my prescription as if he was just trying to get me to leave as fast as possible. Also he asked me what an ESA was. Shouldn't a doctor know what an Emotional Support Animal is? He just seemed clueless about everything.

Dr Larsen doesn't seem to like spending much time with you after waiting 45min past you appointment in the waiting room. He will kind a listen to you but I don't think he really hears what you are telling him. I've been try to get a prescription renewed over the phone now for three days now as I am leave town for the week but still have had no success.

I have been with this clinic through several doctors who have come and gone, one of which was one of the founders of the clinic. Dr. Larsen is a fantastic doctor and always takes the time to see that my concerns are addressed. I suffer from gout and Dr. Larsen is the first doctor I've had that has been able to help me get this painful condition under reasonable control. Doctor Larsen is also almost always available and willing to see me if the need is urgent. I consider him an amazing Doctor and friend who lives fully by the Hippocratic oath.

I have been seeing Dr. Larsen for several years and have always been treated with a smile and the professional assistance he provides. I have referred a few family members and they are also satisfied with Dr. Larsen.

Yes they say you have to be seen. It seem to be about charging you to renewe standard maintenance prescriptions. There is not even a pretense at doing any kind of checkup. The staff claimed, my condition need to be monitored, but it was pretty much send in the prescriptions and get out. I saw the doctor 5 minutes if that. This seem to be recent. change.

I went there a while. Then he insisted i come in to have my meds renewed and they said my condition had to be monitored. They had me pay and he walked in send the prescritions, he asked no questions, they did not checkup. I was not happy because it was 4 months before my annual. I take statins, i'm having a lot of joint pain. Now i read it may be due to statins. If he was monitorning me , why did he not ask if there was issues.

Dr. Larsen has an incredible bedside manner. He is a great listener and takes the time to be thorough. He followed up with me after my visit to see how things were going. Highly recommend!

competent, sympathetic, and engaged--can't ask for more

One time experience and one time only. I called and he was the on call doctor. Was not helpful, courteous, or even willing to listen to my story of how I was extreme pain. Seemed like I was a nu-sense for interrupting his time. Based on this one experience, I will never go to him again, nor recommend him to anyone, doctors or patients. I am sad to write a negative review for I rarely do so, but many doctors have one chance to make a good impression, and he blew it.

Although he is a bit scatterbrained, he is a good doctor. I think that he is courteous and caring. I have been with this dr for several years, I was with another dr in the same practice who moved on.
