Dr. David Allen Lawton JR., MD

I have been going to EAFP since I was about 15 years old, so 30 years now. I received a letter from Dr Lawton today that is he no longer willing to be my doctor with no reason. I called the office and the office manager nor Dr Lawton would speak to me. I am beyond hurt and upset being treated like this. I work in healthcare and know that you just can’t discharge a patient without reason. I am a compliant patient with no, no shows. I seen the million specialist he refers me too. I was told I am not able to see any other doctors in the office as well.

I have been a patient of Dr Lawton for decades. He has a genuine interest in my well being, but he also shows an interest in my family and friends. He wants to know all about me so he can make more informed decisions on my health care. I have recently moved out of state and will miss our chats and the high quality care that he delivers.

Dr. Lawton has been our family Doc for at least 20 years. He is always genuinely interested in my life not only my body . He wants to know how the kids are doing, how things are going in my job etc. I always get the feeling I'm one of his important "medical charges". If I fail physically I sense he would consider it a personal failure. Its like his happiness is tied to my healthiness. Best family doctor I've ever had!

Dr.Lawton makes you feel like you are the most important patient in the bldg- he has great bedside manners, takes his time with you, & listens. He is very thorough & professional.

Don't know how anyone can give a good rating. A family member gets new health insurance. Which they were taking and all of a sudden Dr David Lawton sent them a letter saying he can no longer be their doc, so find a new one. Not only did he do that along with office manager Michelle told the insurance company they are a risk and now have no health insurance at the ages of 75 and 73, this is mind blowing and talking they go through nurse and office help like crazy. And that goes along with double billing, to stay on hold for 20 to 40 mins. Now really!!! They don't send messages back to doc when you call. Front end has to when why and how come you need a nurse there is hippa laws, but this Michelle feels she's above the laws, the nurses and even doc's Be very weary of going to them or staying with them. You much keep all receipts check what these office girls are sending to your insurance company!!!??. Please please be careful for your own self and family

Dr Lawton always makes me feel like he is listening to my concerns, even asking questions or looking at an article I have brought. I try to be prepared so I don't take too much time, but he really makes me feel like he cares. He has provided the answer to several problems and after taking his advice, they have been resolved.
