Dr. David G. Lebowitz was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from the State University of New York in Binghamton and went on to study dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Upon graduating the University of Pennsylvania Dental School in 1979, Dr. Lebowitz was accepted into their post doctoral residency program. This program provided their residents with advanced training in restorative, periodontal, and reconstructive dentistry under the mentorship of dentists renowned throught the world. The groundbreaking techniques taught by these professors remain the building blocks of excellence in dentistry today.
In 1980, after years of gray, rainy days in the northeastern part of the country, Dr. Lebowitz and his wife moved to Phoenix, Arizona to enjoy the sunshine and establish his dental practice. His office was opened at the Mountain View Medical Center in Paradise Valley in 1981. Always eager to provide his …patients with the best that dentistry has to offer, he enrolled in the prestigious Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education in Dentistry, a two year continuing education commitment in the San Francisco Bay area, requiring 300 hours of training in reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry. He completed this upper echelon program in 1988.
Forever on the forefront, porcelain veneers have been offered for cosmetic dentistry in his office since 1981 and he has been using dental implants for reconstructive treatment since 1983.
He continually updates his knowledge in the fields of cosmetic, reconstructive, and implant dentistry by regularly attending advanced courses in these disciplines.
Dr. Lebowitz has been featured on the Phoenix CBS television network as one of the top dentists in the Phoenix metropolitan area and his office has been chosen by Phoenix College as one of their training facilities for dental assisting students.
Married with two sons, Dr. Lebowitz is an avid sports fan (Go D'Backs!); enjoys family, music, travelling, and puttering around his home; and will always welcome a good joke with a hearty laugh!
