Dr. David Myung Jin Lee, MD

I'm 47 and I feel so lucky to have met David even if it's later in life. He's so good at what he does. I have never met anyone who is so good at listening and just getting me. I never write reviews, especially positive ones but I wanted to write about him because he really helped me recently work through something really big and I feel so thankful to him in a way I know I won't be able to repay. I've had therapists before and were helpful, but these past few years has been life changing

Just had my 7th session and I’m blown away yet again. He’s a keeper

I started seeing him at a really stressful time when I felt really low. A lot of devastating things had happened to me. It’s a long story but he was there for me. I’ve always been amazed by how he can just listen people talking about their problems all day. Also he has this uncanny way of seeing things about me that I never even knew. For a minute I couldn’t get over the fact that he’s a man and I wasn’t sure how how he could get me because I’m a white woman. Now, its so clear that those are just labels. He is amazing. I feel like he’s my best friend, I could talk to him about anything. I’m really so glad I found him, I can’t say enough

Dr Lee is a great therapist. His sessions are open ended, which I didn’t understand how it would help me but it has been a really great eye opening experience having that space to talk things through. He listens so well it’s scary. He’s a bit hard to read like most therapists so I wasn’t so sure how things would go but we connected well. I just learned to be more open with how I was feeling inside and it’s been pushing me out of my comfort zone but really helpful. He’s gentle, thoughtful, consistent, and quietly strong, which I’ve learned a lot from. Also, this might sounds shallow but he really has a beautiful office which is really important to help me feel comfortable and I noticed the other patients that come in and out of the office look like well put-together professionals

I will start by saying that I started going to Dr Lee during a very difficult time in my life and wasn't sure if I was going to be able to continue to work. I can't believe how much different I felt after just one visit. I have never been to a mental health professional that, not only is very understanding and caring, but is very accurate with his diagnosis and treatment plan. Even after just a short phone conversation with him, I knew I was dealing with someone who knew their stuff.

I was referred by a friend who had heard about him. It almost didn't work out between our schedules. I'm a busy professional and mom of a young child and he's so booked up. Let me say, he's definitely worth the wait! He's a tremendous listener and really was there for me in one of my most difficult turning points. I wanted to pay it forward for anyone else like me who couldn't figure out how to find a therapist. Call him! If you can get in, you won't regret it
