Dr. David Adam Leeman, MD

One week ago, we were visiting from Nova Scotia, Canada. My brother had a heart attack. In a matter of 3 1/2 hours, he was admitted, blood work, EKG, X-ray. A stint was put in, a blood clot was removed. Dr. Leeman was on call, he was at the hospital in ten minutes. I believe he saved my brother’s life. His bed side manner was impeccable. The whole entire staff were amazing at Cape Cod Hospital. My family are so grateful for all of them’

I entered the ER with pain and burning in my leg, and was given blood tests and a doppler. The Doppler found a deep vein thrombosis (DVT). My blood tests were all normal and my temperature was normal. Nevertheless, Dr. Leeman insisted I had cellulitis in addition to the DVT and gave me intravenous antibiotics. Three doctors who examined me later all agreed that the diagnosis of cellulitis was wrong and that I should not have been given the antibiotics.
