PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING IN FOR ANY EAR WAX REMOVAL. SEE AN EAR SPECIALIST! Went in for a sudden ringing in left ear due to impacted wax after shower, instead of softening it for 15 minutes or even sending me home to soften, they decided to just syringe(they told me irrigation but used Elephant Ear washer. Feel free to search "Elephant Ear washer causing Tinnitus"). This caused extreme pain in left ear and bleeding. Nurse went and grabbed the physician due to this.(Let me note that Physician Lemak didn't include this in visit notes) I was told we should take a break and do other side. Right side was painless. Instead of PHYSICIAN David Lemak recommending we stop and referral to ENT due to pain and bleeding, he took a look and decided it was ok to try again. Again pain took over but I braced in trust for relief. Finally they got the wax out. After, I felt relief from left side ringing but experienced pressure and felt gross due to whole experience. Then the next day I developed… tinnitus in both ears. Not a good outlook for me. Will be seeing specialist now. Please avoid ear procedures from Urgent Care and see a specialist first.

Dr Lemak is an extremely thoughtful and empathetic physician. I was amazed at not only the amount of time he spent with me, but particularly his thoughtful and comprehensive explanation of the problem/diagnosis and the treatment possibilities. He was open to questions and concerns and provided the answers and guidance on concerns. I think he has a excellent capacity to engage a patient in the medical process, a real and important skill. His staff, clinical and office based, were all friendly, considerate and professional. I would recommend Dr Lemak!
