Outstanding Doctor that diagnosed that one of my medications was being secreted back into my body which was causing my speech to be impeded and my short term memory to be lost. Two other Emory Neurologists said that my speech and memory were due to “stress” and it was “ In my head”.. THANK GOODNESS MY WIFE KEPT PUSHING UNTIL SHE FOUND DR. LESCH! Dr.Lesch ordered a very uncommon blood test which measured the level of a medication called Gabapentin ( Neurontin ) in my blood stream. He believed that the drug had become toxic in my body and he was correct. When the results came back the level of gabapentin in my body was 2 1/2 times what it should be which caused it to become toxic and poisoned my system. If it had not been for my wife finding him and him diagnosing the problem and me going in the hospital to get help for it I would be in very big trouble right now . I would still be taking the medicine if I had listened to the other neurologist who were completely… wrong. It takes a little while to go through one of his appointments because he is a specialist not a total surgeon. The sign clearly says when you go in that the appointment 10 last 90 minutes or longer. Considering he has a neurologist and is looking at your brain I think it would be wise that we use our brains and allow him the time to diagnose are issues. If you do not want to take that time then I suggest don’t go see him. He is well worth the wait. Be patient we are talking about our brains.

The worst

If u have medicaid u will sit until all regular insurance patients are seen. My son was there for over 4 hours while they call every patient b4 him. I complained after 3 hours of waiting only to b put in a room for another 2 hours and still did see a doctor. Please stay away,This is by far the worst neurologist staff that i have come across in Ga. try Ga Neurology they are more professional and have great bedside manner.

We had to wait over 2 hr. to see him and we only saw him for five minutes. Not acceptable. He does not take the time to listen to you and does not seem interested.

Dr. Lesch lacks compassion and empathy. He is extremely arrogant, condescending, and unprofessional. The worst doctor I have ever met. If you don't mind three hour wait times, and a jerk as your healthcare provider, this is your man.

I'm writing this review from the examination, where I've been sitting with a selection of 2 year old magazines for a half hour. This is after waiting 45 minutes in the lobby. I will end up seeing the doctor for less than 5 minutes so I can refill my prescription for another year. It is absolutely ludicrous.

I saw Dr. Lesch today for the first time. Yes, I did wait a while but I thought everyone in the office were nice people. He comes off rude but he is trying to get ALL details of why you are there. He warmed up to me well. I will definitely be going back to see him. He just takes time to look about your symtoms.

Waited 2 hours to see him, hoped he was reviewing my file but was drinking coffee. Asked me five questions and misdiagnosed me. Completely rude and belittling. Did not as much as entertain my questions but ignored them! He is not qualified to deal with serious medical issues! No bedside manner!

I have seen Dr. Lesch for over 15 years. He has always been late and always seemed rushed, but also always met my needs well enough. However, the last several visits have been atrocious, and my most recent visit was so bad that I decided to find another doctor. Not only did I wait TWO hours to see the doctor, but when he did come in the room he didn't even address the reason why I was there. He made a change in my medication and walked out of the room with his back to me while I was trying to explain that I was really there for evaluation of some very scary and potentially serious symptoms of another disorder. Shameful.
