Dr. Lofters was born and grew up in Toronto, Canada. David loved sports, and in high school played varsity basketball, ice hockey, baseball and volleyball! He worked as a barber while attending Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama, but always achieved a position on the school's Dean's List as well as adding his name to the National Dean's List. While attending Dental School at Howard University, Dr. Lofters was awarded membership in OKU, the National Dental Honor Society, a position reserved for only a few outstanding students. David has two teenage sons, and he and his wife now live in Marietta. In his spare time, he enjoys playing classical piano, golf, and basketball, as well as being creative with both acrylic painting and pencil drawing! Dr. Lofters is a member of the American Association of …Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Northern District Dental Society, and patients can visit him at the DentFirst Lithonia, Norcross, Sandy Springs, and Smyrna locations.
