Dr. David Gene Lukens, MD

Dr. Lukens is a horrible, unfair, uncaring, and incompetent Doctor. He was a horrible Doctor while he was in the Military. He WAS and still IS the worst Doctor I ever came across, and I came across some doozies in my time in healthcare. Worst Doctor, wouldn't wish this incompetent hack on my worst enemis.

He always talks to you as though he is doing you a favor. He does not act like he wants to be A doctor let along YOUR doctor. Part of being a doctor is caring... at least about the duty behind being a physician. This man does not care and should retire and stop hurting people. He is always consistently rude and never remembers his patients. Does not follow up... does not care... avoid him if you cant

Dr. Lukens is very judgemental and uncaring. I would not recommend him to my friends even though he is very smart and a good doctor as far as compentency goes but I would rather have someone who is smart, caring, and better organized.

Dr. Lukens was highly recommended to me by some very close friends. It was very easy to make an appointment and the wait time was minimal. Dr. Lukens sent me for some testing. Four days after the testing, I had not heard from him or his office staff about the the test results, so I called his office. I was told he would call me back. He did not. I waited four more days and called again. His office manager rather rudely told me I was in his pile and he would get back to me. He did not. I called the next day, and the call was answered by his office manager. She said she didn't understand why I was calling because his nurse had called me earlier in the day. She had not, nor had the doctor. Then, she (the office manager) begins telling me my test results. Is it just me, but it seems like I should be hearing my results from the doctor or his nurse, not the office manager. I insist that 1) the nurse never called me and 2) I still want to hear from the doctor. So far, I have yet… to hear from anyone in the office.
