Dr. David Lev Maccabee, MD

Dr. Maccabee performed my sleeve gastrectomy and I could not be happier with the level of care I received from him, his staff and all at Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria. Dr. Maccabee is very professional, caring and absolutely amazing at what he does. I would highly recommend him to anyone who will listen!

Dr. Maccabee & his staff are top-notch all the way. He did an excellent job with my hernia surgery. All his explanations & communcation were concise, clear & timely. His bedside manner is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him to anyone. Dr. Maccabee & his staff get an 11 out of 10!

I had Dr. Maccabee for a colonoscopy, which I was really dreading. I am so picky about my Dr's. This was my first time with this doctor and he was great. Confident, good bedside manner, I really had no worries after my visit, and the day of went so well. I would have confidence for him to do a surgery, and I am sorry that he is not in the North West anymore. You guys are really blessed to have him there.

I'm going to have sleeve gastrectomy at the end of the month. Dr Maccabee and his entire interdisciplinary team are a composition of both competent and compassionate healthcare providers. I feel confident that I am in good hands :)

I have had my first appt. with him. He made me feel good about myself and teh need for surgery . all teh staff pushed the authorizations very quickly with my primary care doctor, so far all is going smoothly,

Dr. Maccabee is the best. He was able to diagnose and correct a long standing problem, which other doctors had not been able to do. He is very concerned about his patients and you can tell it by his actions. He doesn't rush, always has time for questions, and explains things so you can easily understand them. I am so upset that he is relocating, he will be a great loss to the community. In conclusion, he is one great surgeon and I don't think I will ever be able to find anyone else that will be able to earn my respect or have the expertise like he has.

Dr. David Maccabee is absolutely the best! I just don't have the words, Dr. Maccabee, his staff and collegues are all so wonderful I just don't know where to begin. A simple little appointment and a few tests turned into a pretty scary situation. I was given an explanation of my condition and my options in a way I could understand. I was comfortable enough to ask alot of questions....and got answers to all of my questions...even the ones that surely came from the twilight zone...I was sent to several specialists, all scheduling and insurance issues were handled by Dr. Maccabee's office. Awesome! No insurance or scheduling problems...."priceless!" Everyone was so good to me. I thought I would be afraid of surgery but Dr. Maccabee made me feel so at ease, and I realized that I had complete faith in him. I would send those closest to me to Dr. Maccabee in a heartbeat! In fact if a loved one needed surgery I would insist they see Dr. Maccabee! I'm healthier than I have been in years and I… have Dr. Maccabee to thank for that. He helped me find a strength in myself that i didn't know I had.
