Dr. David Blair Mainman, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr Mainman’s for probably a decade. He is absolutely wonderful and has helped me so much with my medical problems. Definitely recommend him.

Dr. Mainman is great. Took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I left out of his office with a peace of mind.

Dr Mainman is the best. He and his staff are always great. He did my hysterectomy in 2008 & as promised, I fell SO much better. Had cysts and endometriosis fr years that a different dr told me to wait and see if it turned into cancer! Sadly I moved out of state but came back to Tucson just to see him & would do so again even though he told me how to find a good gynecologist in Colorado.

I have been coming in recently for issues in regards to my birth control. Instead of dealing with it in a conservative approach he just continues to push for a hysterectomy, I am 23 years old!!!!! Knock it off and stop telling me that it is my fault that I keep having sporadic bleeding and I should just remove my uterus. I swear now a days all drs see when they see patients is ??????. When he sold the practice and merged with northwest that was the worst mistake I think he could have ever made.

Dr. Dave makes me feel very comfortable and makes me laugh. He treats me like and old friend. He understands what I'm going through and uses his knowledge to help find solutions. His staff is great, very nice. I really like that they have blood work services at the office, I don't have to go somewhere else to get labs.

I was heartbroken when I learned my Ob/gyn of 15 years no longer delivered babies. After going through 3 doctors, we (my husband and I) decided we were comfortable with Dr David Mainman. My experience with him and his office was exceptional! I’m sad when we moved away from Tucson and I had to find another doctor to deliver my second baby!!!

I found Dr. Mainman online and after seeing good reviews and pictures of his nice office at DESERT BLOOM, I decided to make an appointment for my pregnancy. I filled out all the paperwork and was asked to wait in the room. Minutes later, an office assistant walks in and lets me know that Dr. Mainman wants to make sure before he sees me that I will only be seeing him and not any other doctor. I thought that was a strange request and I mentioned that I have seen other doctors and like to have second opinions, specially when it comes to my pregnancy. She insisted that if I wanted to become a patient I was forbidden from seeing anyone else. I agreed that he would be my main doctor and I wanted him to deliver my baby. The assistant walked out and I could hear her speak to the doctor outside the door, only to come back in minutes later repeating the same thing and just wanting to make sure I understood that I could NOT get a second opinion elsewhere and I had to be his patient exclusively.… I was frustrated by the odd request and asked "Is he coming in so I can talk to him ?" And she replied "not unless we are sure you won't be seeing anyone else" !! At this point I just got up and left. I never saw his face and I will never be going back or recommend Dr. Mainman.

I know it's a little late to thank Dr. Dave Mainman. Back in '06, I had to have a hysterectomy due to ovarian cysts(both inside and out). On my ovaries, in my right ovarie was a large cyst, it made me so ill it was unbelievably painful...I wanted to thank Dave for listening to my concerns, and for being the best Dr.(OB/GYN) I ever had.

Staff is friendly and courteous. My experience there is always great and they make me feel special. I am not just a number.

The office was nice but when I had pain he didn't know about he just told me I should find another doctor. He didn't refer me out. I can tell you this it is scary to be in pain and to have your doctor just give up on treating you was one of the hardest things.
