I have been seeing Dr Makover for what will be 30 years next year. He has treated my psoriatic arthritis with the utmost diligence and care. I would recommend him highly

The doctor is not up to date on the latest treatments and pharmacology. In addition there is a long wait to obtain test results.

Unfriendly, quick to get you out, rude I will never go back

wasn't impressed by him or his office. The front office staff was rude, had attitude, and a bit unprofessional. Makeover didn't address specific questions I had and kept interrupting and rushing me. Still don't have answers to them so it was a waste of money and time. I wouldn't have gone if I knew it was going to be like that and wouldn't go back.

Dr. Makover is a wonderful Dr. I have been going to him for 24 years.

The following comments describe my personel impressions based on several office visits. I found all but one member of the office staff to be totally lacking in customer service.As for Dr. Makover, I would describe his bedside manner as dismissive, condescending, and anything but compassionate. At each visit I felt as though he felt he had better things to do than see a patient. Trying to talk with him was an exercise is frustration, at best. Before I would even finish a sentence or say something of consequence he would nod and say "uh-huh, uh-huh" - leaving me with the distinct impression that he was not actually listening and that he was trying to rush me out of the place. During each of my visits, he took phones call while in the exam room with me and on two occassions left the room (up to 10 minutes) in the middle of the exam. My health issue remains unresolved. I feel my visits to him were a complete waste of my time and money. In fact, I can only describe my experience… with him and his office as an exercise in lining his pockets with my hard-earned money. I cannot, in good faith, refer anyone to him.
