Dr Maldonado, cared for my wife in ICU at medical city, north hills. He was very knowledgeable and consistently kind. He always took the time to explain what was happening. A truly amazing human being and doctor.

Most unprofessional office I have been to. I was a bit upset that my PCP even recommended him. I will not be referring him to anyone I know.

Worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office. I have had a sleep study done at his office. You use the same restrooms patients that are coming in on daily visits use, not to mention you sleep in one of the offices on a murphy bed. This was all set up without seeing Dr. Maldonado. After the sleep study I go back in thinking I was seeing the doctor to go over my results only to see an assistant. Then getting my machine...only to see another assistant and rushing thru the experience not getting a proper fit. Spending lots of money still not seeing the doctor and a machine that still does not fit right. Anytime you call the office you can not get in to see the doctor for 3-4 weeks out. I had a study done with Billy Eden years ago my original machine is probably 16 years old so I am familiar with how things "should be" handled. I would not recommend this office or Dr. Maldonado to any one I knew. It is frustrating to take the time to have a sleep study done and pay out money to get… this type of service. It seems to me all they are interested in is getting the money and moving you thru like cattle.

So knowledgeable, caring and professional!! Absolutely THE BEST Critical Care Doctor hands down!!

I have tried to make an appointment for almost two months. Got a person on the line after many phone calls & never being called back. Claimed the office never got my moms referral letter. Had her doctor send a second one & two weeks later still no one returns my call.

The waiting time varies from nearly nothing to, sometimes, an hour. That's the only bad thing. Once Dr.Maldonado comes in the exam room, everything changes to absolutely perfect. The difference, compared to many other doctors, is he listens attentively without taking his eyes off of the patient. He isn't reading your chart at the same time. He spends any amount of time necessary to hear what you have to say, and to explain your diagnoses and treatment plan It is not the other type of office visit whereby one has seven minutes and then that's it. This is why he is late and one has to wait awhile. He is soft spoken and extremely friendly. He was the honor graduate at UT medical school, then at Mayo Clinic. That is enough said about his abilities. He not only solved my problem, but also my wife's when another pulmonologist could not even accurately diagnose it. I could not be more pleased with this doctor and highly recommend him.
