Dr. David Francis Markel, MD

We have been with Dr Markel’s practice for about 24 yrs! All of my kids have seen him and two continue to. The office staff is always accommodating and goes out of their way to assist auths , medication approvals and school paper work and Dr Markel is accessible day or night! The entire practice has become like family. I will always recommend him and this practice!

We love Dr. Markel! He is very thorough, listens to your concerns, and is so patient and kind with his patients. His staff is also great, and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

We absolutely love Dr.Markel. He always makes our kids feel important and safe. He listens and answers all of our questions thoroughly. But mostly even sick our kids are always excited to go! Highly recommend!!

Dr.Markel is by far one of the most compassionate, caring, wonderful pediatric doctor I have ever came across. My children love him. They are comfortable when they walk through those doors and maybe some tears at the end if shots are involved. But overall fantastic staff and I couldn’t be more happier as a parent having my children be under the care of Dr.Markel and the nurses and staff are incredible as well wonderful caring, loving people.

We have been seeing Dr.Markel for 7 years now and I have nothing but nice things to say about him. Any time we have been to the office it is spotless and smells so good. The visit start to finish has never been more than 30 minutes. The whole staff as well as Dr.Markel is so welcoming and kind. My son loves going because the environment is so comfortable to be in. I will always recommend him to any one I know.

Dr. Markel is a fantastic doctor. He is extremely personable and always makes availability for a sick visit. My children are very comfortable with him and he makes it easy for a kid to advocate for themselves. All staff is friendly and welcoming and we as a family have no complaints or concerns when walking out the door.

Always available which is fantastic and it is easy to get in. Also is available for emergencies via phone after hours. The office staff could use some customer service training and are not the most polite or caring. Dr. Markel himself is very nice, however, does not take the time to address all questions and is very quick to leave the room. Most visits last no longer than 1-5 minutes. I always leave the office having more questions that I have to google and find out the answers to.

Excellent doctor

the NP at this office should be kept away from new mom's as she is big into shaming people and making them feel stupid. She shamed me enough that I stopped breastfeeding my daughter.. which I will forever regret. The office staff is rude and can't figure out how to create or maintain files for their staff

I have taken all four of my children...ages 15, 12, 8, 6 to Dr. Markel and Renee since my eldest was about 2 years old. I can't say enough wonderful things about David( Dr. Markel), Renee and the staff. You feel like family when you walk in and know everyone by name. This practice has helped us handle everything with our children from asthma to anxiety, common illnesses to developmental concerns and has handled everything with absolute professionalism yet always with a personal, caring touch. Highly, highly recommend this practice! I have, on occasion seen a random negative review of the staff and mention of someone or another being rude! I have been going to this practice for about 13 years and I have no clue who would have an issue with anyone there. Front desk staff, nurses, billing--all have only responded promptly and courteously to any questions or needs and personally know each of my kids. Perhaps it's the attitude some parents walk in with that sets the negative tone!… Really--take those comments with a grain of salt and visit the practice for yourself.
