Dr. David James Maron, MD

Maron is a charming guy, but maybe not the greatest surgeon. I had my first surgery with him 5 years ago and I am still dealing with the complications: the first laparoscopic surgery failed ( I developed a fever and abdominal pain when I called his office and his intern was not sure if I should come in - I hung up the phone and drove myself to the ER): I had to be opened up and was left with a huge, ugly scar; I got a terrible infection that required massive antibiotics and an extensive hospital stay; I then developed a hernia, which required another major surgery and a nastier scar; now I have painful adhesions. Strange that my records on the Cleveland Clinic site with regard to my treatment with Maron are erased and I am unable to leave a review on their site either. Proceed with caution.

Dr Maron is an amazing surgeon, he is compassionate, caring, he explains everything and follows up.

Very personable, likeable, great sense of humor. Expert in his field. Highly recommend.
